ABOUT OUR COMPANY Southfield Fisheries Limited started its operation in March, 2008 with the intention to process quality products to establish its Brand in the International market. Southfield Fisheries can take pride from the fact that it has established its Brand “CHINGRI” in the world sea food market and trying to uphold the image of Black Tiger shrimps of Bangladesh. Capabilities The factory uses 2900 sqm. and has both BLOCK and IQF freezing facilities. The quality control has a high standard of operation and the most effective and practical documentation procedures. Frozen Product: Black Tiger: 6/8, 8/12, 13/15, 16/20, 21/25, 26/30, 31/40, 41/50, 51/60, 61/70. Block Frozen: In block frozen, shrimps are generally packed in polythene wrapped blocks inside a printed Inner Carton in different weights like 400 g, 750 g, 1.00 kg, 1.20 kg, 1.80 kg, 2.00 kg and 4 lbs. IQF Frozen: In IQF frozen, in general shrimps are packed in a printed poly bag or plain poly bag with a printed Rider Card in different weights like 400 g, 750 g, 800 g, 1.00 kg, 1.00 lb, or 2.00 lbs. This packing can be organized with various quantities of glazing like 10%, 15%, 20% or even 25% Value Added Product: cooked, skewered, Brand Names: Chingri, Shrimpies, Private Label Certifications: HACCP, EU Approval Number: Bangladesh KLN-85
