ABOUT OUR COMPANY
The main area of activity of Läätsa Kalatööstus Ltd is the
production and sale of frozen sprat and Baltic herring, as well as
spiced sprat. Another important area of activity is the packaging and
marketing of unpeeled prawns (Pandalus Borealis). The company's product
assortment also includes an expanding selection of frozen seafood.
Läätsa Kalatööstus products are marketed under KALURI, SAAREMAA, and
SUBLAND trademarks.
In 2011 the company acquired a new packaging line, and vacuum packaging
line for prawns. Today the company possesses the capacity to produce a
monthly volume of 1,000 tonnes of fish products, and 500 tonnes of
prawns.
The area of the plant located in Läätsa village is 3,300 m², with 1,200
m² designated for the storage of frozen goods.
Export comprises 95% of the company's turnover. The company's main
export markets are Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Sweden, Germany, Moldova,
Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom and Serbia.
